方晨的空间Youth is not a time of life; It is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, and a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life. 18 febrero 新年感想早上起来,看了看大家的MSN空间,发现大家最近都挺过得挺好。俊成和维佳这两只猴子在法国过新年,还都有事要忙,真是太努力了,赞一个~~为牛ms也去澳洲了,难道和慧娟会合了?在此先祝福不回家过年的兄弟姐妹们新年快乐,在新的一年朝着自己的理想迈进一大步~!^_^
不知道为何,今年放假回家一直没有往年过年的感觉,直到昨天新年钟声敲响的时候。
本命年就这样来了,不知道会不会有灾,呵呵
发现人的成长总是阶梯形式的,有时候经过很长的时间都没有任何变化,但有时突然一个瞬间,发现自己想开了很多,放下了很多,也拿起了很多。写到这里突然觉得成长有点像狗熊掰棒子,掰一个丢一个,到头来一个也剩不下,不过是让狗熊对玉米棒子的渴望更加深刻了。
这玉米棒子就像生活,不断的成长让我对生活充满渴望。
面对未来美丽而又充满挑战的生活,我有无限的渴望和一点畏惧。总是在潜意识中渴望完美的美丽生活,可是每次总是不去选择安逸的生活,而是充满荆棘和更多鲜花的路去走。在大多数时候渴望完全压住了这点畏惧,不过畏惧像是小强,还是及其倔强地生存着。
正因为小强的存在,有时候好多事情都歇斯底里地来考虑是不是做的合适,是不是做的很好。
还好,小强现在被我发现了,我要对你说一句:“小强,你死的好惨呀!”嘿嘿~~~
新的一年要用一种新的心情来面对,来年我要向大家好好学习,大家也要多多向我学习哈,嘿嘿
05 febrero 学期总结终于把实验室的事情都忙完了,研究生第一学期就着样完成了。
自己总结一下:
学了不少东西,赚了不少米,认识了不少新朋友。
下学期目标:
学会游泳、多打网球、坚持跑步、考过Toefl、水平2、确定研究方向、变成linux牛人,先这么多吧。
还有,祝福看到此贴的朋友们猪年快乐、能够像猪一样无忧无虑、白白胖胖的 15 enero show下偶新买的PSP早就听说psp是功能强大,一直想见识一下。恰逢最近由于sony为了打击竞争对手任天堂采用无耻的低价倾销的手段,所以偶狠了狠心收了一台。
小日本的rp都不咋地,但做出来的电子产品确实有令人称道的地方。psp采用480*272的超广可视角TFT液晶屏,显示效果很好。而且拥有
介于ps和ps2之间的3D多边形绘图能力,对应的曲面NURBS建模更是ps2所没有的技术,画面质量达到了一个新的高度。买回来以后先看了看demo disc中带的几个电影的效果,只能用完美来形容。于是马上下了个psp版的极品10试了一下。这一试着实下了我一跳。在我宿舍的台式机跑起来都非常费尽的极品飞车10竟然在psp上非常流畅的运行。考虑到EA是做PC游戏出身的,做psp游戏没有理由比做pc游戏做的要好,所以只能说psp的整个系统非常优秀。
对于这样一个嵌入式系统,我狠好奇,所以调查了一下他的硬件信息。
据了解,SONY在斯坦福大学2004年IEEE Hot Chips 会议上公开了PSP的全部规格。psp采用两颗R4000 CPU内核。其中一个内核负责处理大多数系统代码和游戏代码,另一个内核补充了2M字节的DRAM,负责音频、静止图象、视频等媒体处理;PSP CPU Core1集成了I-Cache(指令缓存具体容量未知)、D-Cache(数据缓存 具体容量未知)与FPU、VFPU(Vector Unit).其中PSP CPU Core的3D计算能力主要来源FPU与VFPU这两个矢量单元,其浮点运算能力已经达到的2.6GFlops(是在有3D-CG Extended Instructions-3D扩展指令集参加工作时的数值),这已经是达到P3 733的浮点运算量了。它的内核集成30MB DRAM 主内存这样可以容纳更多的多边形数据与高解析度的纹理, 主内存带宽为2.6GB/sec. PSP CPU Core利用其128位的带宽的总线与4M RAM相连,充分发挥PSP CPU Core的超高性能;采用Memory Stick DUO记忆棒和UMD光盘做为音、视频、数据存储媒介;采用WiFi技术,提供ad-hoc和Infrastructure两种无线连接方式。
psp的cpu提供者是MIPS公司,它是世界嵌入式CPU IP授权市场的老二,虽然来头不及任天堂NDSL的CPU提供者ARM公司,不过NDSL采用的是一片ARM7和一片ARM9。ARM7架构于97年左右推出,拥有0.9MIPS/MHz的3级流水线结构;ARM9架构于99年左右推出,拥有能够提供1.1MIPS/MHz的5级流水线结构。PSP的MIPS 4KE CPU采用最新的MIPS32架构,拥有能够提供1.5MIPS/MHz的5级流水线,这点要比ARM9强不少。本来MIPS32 4KE内核在TSMC的0.13微米制作规程下能够达到233MHz,但是SONY方面不惜血本,在日本长崎县谏早市的索尼半导体『SCEI Fab』晶圆厂采用0.09微米制作规程,使其在相同的IP CORE主频可以跑到333MHz。从理论上来讲,更先进的制程除了可以带来更高的频率、更高的成本外,还可以带来更低的功耗。但恰恰在0.09微米这个工艺点,由于对深亚微米工艺的特性认识不足,在超低K值介电材料的开发上没跟上,出现了很严重的漏电问题,导致功耗不但没有降低,还提升了不少。所有半导体制造商均是如此,INTEL等后来通过新开发的超低K值介电材料解决这个问题,甚至直接上级到更先进的0.065微米制程,但是SONY由于游戏机的硬件统一性,很难采用类似的方式。所以第一批psp存在很大的功耗问题,不过还好,我的psp应该是制作工艺改进之后的产品,所以电池使用时间还是很不错的:)
另外一点值得注意的地方是SONY也在PSP中使用基于可重配置逻辑的VME(虚拟移动引擎)视、音频处理内核,它运行在1.2V和166 MHz,可以实现3D 虚拟化、回响、音调控制以及其它音频处理功能。由于PSP 的加速硬件纸面性能过于夸张,难以让人相信,例如根据官方资料psp的3300万个多边形/ 秒的渲染率,已经超出了Geforce3一级桌面显卡的水平。这有点夸张的成分在里面,因为从目前技术来看,集成到PSP上不可能的,也无法和CPU 的处理能力配合(目前3D运算还是离不开CPU 的)。
总体来说,PSP是当前性价比非常高的掌上型多媒体终端之一,爱好影音、游戏、移动上网等应用的fans们可以考虑收一个。
后话:对比SONY,中国IT领域的代表企业联想似乎还仅仅停留在“在中关村攒电脑”的水平(出自偶实验室一哥们的名言...org...)。从PSP的优秀设计,我们可以看到联想和索尼的差距在创新上。采用同样的功能的不同组合,SONY可以构建出令人震撼的系统;而联想仅仅还停留在亦步亦趋的模仿阶段。希望联想能从刚刚收购的ibm电脑上找到创新的灵感和经验,早日成为一个真正世界级的IT企业。顺便也预祝偶们实验室刚刚签约联想中国研究院的周师兄能够在联想有所建树,事业有成,呵呵。

14 enero 感受监考昨天,实验室一个自动控制原理1的助教师兄说有事情不能去监考期末考试,做为下学期的助教,我就代替师兄去监考了。 以前都是考试被监考,这会以监考者的角度去体验考试,心情格外激动:) 下午提前30分到考试地点,一下子就感受到了考试前的紧张气氛。好多大三的ddmms都表情严肃的看着书和复习资料,这不禁让我想起了自己当年参加期末考试的情景。 考试前五分钟,我根据规程,提醒大家把书包放到前面,告诉大家关掉手机,不要作弊,然后开始发卷子。 考试时间为两个小时,由于无聊,我自己把卷子看了一遍,觉得很容易,不过自己真正能做出来的并不是很多,毕竟扔了2年了。再看看ddmms好像也都做的比较顺利。好多人在还有半个小时的时候最后一个题都差不多做完了。 一个同学没有带橡皮,想想当年考试没带橡皮的窘迫情景,于是我就把自己的橡皮借给她用。考试结束后,她还给我的时候还对我微微一笑,呵呵。 考试结束了,把试卷收上来,添了一张监考纪录表,一并交给老师,然后走人。 每当下学期要当助教,总是从心里面高兴,哈哈哈哈~~~~~ 我也知道好为人师不是一个好习惯,一个劲儿告诉自己“要镇定,要镇定”可还是忍不住高兴:) 看来只能等到下学期一边当助教一边慢慢改吧 08 enero Notes On The PhD DegreeLast week at the department colloquium coffee hour, several students engaged

Unless you have adopted the long-range goal of becoming a researcher, the day-to-day demands will wear you down. Standards will seem unnecessary high; rigor will seem unwarranted.
